We are seeking highly motivated, intelligent and personable customer service professionals to work in a regulatory customer support role. Based in the heart of the Sydney CBD, you will be working with a team of likeminded individuals delivering excellent customer service. As a Customer Service Officer you will respond to customer enquiries by relaying information about registration, support the health practitioner complaints process and advise on other profession specific content. You will have a thirst for knowledge and want to share information in an easy to understand manner. There will be initial and ongoing training and development in this role, where every day will have challenges and an opportunity to learn.

This is a fast paced role, which is primarily phone and email based and may be the stepping stone for you into numerous career opportunities within AHPRA.\xa0 We are looking for candidates with good communication skills and experienced in phone or face-to-face customer service, or a confident self-starter. Maybe you are a recent graduate interested in healthcare in Australia with an interest in regulation.

On a daily basis you will:
\u2022\xa0Respond to incoming enquiries by phone or email
\u2022\xa0Provide assistance to applicants, practitioners, notifiers, members of the public (to name a few) on registration requirements, how to lodge a complaint, profession specific guidelines and relevant legislation
\u2022\xa0Responsible for providing excellent customer service through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
\u2022\xa0Identify customer needs and escalate for resolution when appropriate.
\u2022\xa0Work with and complete confidential information and documentation.
\u2022\xa0Maintain the integrity of the CRM.

What are we looking for?

\u2022\xa0Experience in High-Volume Customer Service with record and document management
\u2022\xa0Strong oral communication skills with the ability to work with challenging customers and deliver a positive customer focused experience.
\u2022\xa0Demonstrated organisational and administrative experience or a recent graduate
\u2022\xa0Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
\u2022\xa0Ability to display initiative and work independently when required.
