Our client manufactures and installscomplete staging solutions, encompassing everything from stage lighting andtheatre sound design, for theatres, schools, convention centres, entertainmentcentres, cinemas and presentation spaces, whilst ensuring the highest safetystandards.

Their experience in stage design,theatre fit outs and engineering is unparalleled in Australia, with theirproducts and work on display in some of the largest and most prominent venuesaround the country. They have over 40 years' experience providing turn-keysolutions, from design, engineering and manufacturing, to installation,maintenance and service.

They are seeking an experienced OperationalAssistant to join their NSW operations team. This varied role will assist toprepare the receiving, storage, distribution and shipment of products andequipment manufactured and distributed by the Company.

Jobtasks and responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities ofthe Operational Assistant include (but are not limited to):

\xb7maintaining information in theinventory managementsystem (Pronto) and management of IOFs;

\xb7be responsible for controlling stocklevels of consumables and MP parts;

\xb7coordinating freight deliveries,including packing/despatch duties and maintaining the freight register,including coordinating consignment notes and manifests;

\xb7conducting pre-kitting of projectsagainst BOM's/IOF's/purchase requisitions;

\xb7assisting with installations onsiteas required;

\xb7undertaking stock takes as required;and,

\xb7assisting to prepare, test anddespatch resources and equipment for various Company events.

Skillsand experience

To beconsidered for this roleapplicants must meet theessentialcriteria listed below:

\xb7Minimum 2 years general warehouseand/or logistics experience;

\xb7Drivers licence (current and valid) \u2013MR minimum;

\xb7Test & Tag Licence;

\xb7Licence to Perform High RiskWork(LF - Forklift);

\xb7Proven experience using ERP systems(Pronto Desirable);

\xb7Intermediate level of computerliteracy;

\xb7Ability to prioritise, organise andcoordinate a multiple of tasks; and,

\xb7Construction Induction White Card.

It would be an advantage to possess one or more of the following desirable selection criteria.

\xb7Knowledge of mechanical equipment andsystems relevant to the theatrical and staging industry; and,

\xb7Experience using TNT systems.
