As an Associate Professor of Law, your focus will be on providing leadership and fostering excellence in teaching and research. You will provide academic leadership across all aspects of the school's operations. 

As an academic member of the Curtin Law School you will exhibit the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. You will hold academic qualifications sufficient to satisfy the requirements for admission to practice in Western Australia, as well as relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent professional experience. Curtin Law School has a strong association with the legal profession through its city based clinical program and co-located barrister's chambers. 

The School offers an undergraduate law degree (LLB) taught in trimesters and both taxation and business law majors within the Bachelor of Commerce degree, along with various postgraduate programs. You will provide a sustained contribution to governance within the School of Law and wider University. The School has ambitious development plans both domestically and internationally and wishes to harness your energy.

To be successful, you must have a very strong commitment to research and a track record of high-quality and practical research commensurate with your current level of seniority. The Curtin Law School is active in research and possession of a doctorate would be desirable, but it is not essential.
