Key areas of practice include Policy Management, ERM, Compliance, Complaints Handling, Privacy, HR, WHS, Student Safety, ASX Governance and AFSL Governance.
We are currently experiencing rapid growth (particularly in the Education sector) and require the services of a School Compliance Consultant in Sydney.
In this dynamic role, you will be in a unique position where you can make a difference, helping schools protect students and staff and nurture a child safe culture.
As School Compliance Consultant, your primary functions will include:
- Leading the project management of client implementations to ensure service delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Ongoing Client Relationship Management of your portfolio of clients to ensure that they are using the CompliSpace solution to its maximum potential.
- Providing content and consulting expertise with respect to our key practice areas.
- Identifying any potential "road blocks" and/or "obstacles" that may occur during the implementation process and proactively managing these situations. This may require "coaching" a client as to the best way to achieve a desired result.
- Facilitating the development of risk and control frameworks both at board and executive levels as well as at functional levels. This will often involve translating a client's existing registers into our GRC software, CompliSpace Assurance.
- Being a change management expert with the ability to quickly assess a client's GRC maturity levels and work with clients over time to enable their governance capabilities.
- Facilitating the development of non-financial management reporting frameworks (risk, compliance, complaints, incident reporting etc).
- Conducting executive briefings.
- Conducting face to face training sessions for clients.
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction as measured through client satisfaction surveys.
To be considered for the role you will need the following expertise:
- A tertiary qualification preferably in education, business or law;
- At least 5 years' post graduate business experience;
- Effective project management skills (exposure to SCRUM would be helpful)
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- Experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance or Policy Management consulting would be an advantage.
Good working knowledge of the following will be highly regarded:
- Key governance standards (in particular, risk, compliance and complaints handling);
- Work health and safety principles;
- Human resources management principles;
