Rydges Parramatta is seeking a professional and passionate hotel Conference & Events Sales Executive to join an exceptional team environment that fosters training, delevopment and career progression.

Reporting to the Conference & Events Business Development Manager, you will be accountable for the day to day Conference & Events planning and organisation:

RESPONSIBILITES WILL INCLUDE:

• Taking enquiries, quoting and contracting residential & non-residential business
• Event co-ordination
• Communication with all hotel departments
• Office administration and billing
• Managing and building client relationships
• Site inspections
• Telemarketing
• Achieving budgeted revenue, rate and room night targets

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Experience in leading large scale events
• Experience in consistent exceptional service
• Effective planning, prioritisation and decision making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to think outside the square
• A can do attitude
• A friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation.

Previous experience in a similar position will be highly regarded along with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Opera Sales & Catering, Opera PMS and general hotel experience.
