We currently have part time opportunities for cleaners in our Property Team. In this role you will be responsible for cleaning our Territorial Headquarters (THQ) building located at 261 Chalmers street, Redfern which has 300-400 occupants, working Monday – Friday across 3 levels and a mezzanine. Cleaning responsibilities would cover areas such as the open plan office space, kitchens, bathrooms, meeting rooms, the loading dock and carpark, fire stairs, building facade, and outdoor eating areas.

We require someone who has a solid attendance record, is committed to providing quality cleaning services and has solid communication skills (both written and verbal).

Hours:

The successful candidates must be able to have the following availability:

• Monday – Friday. 7am to 11am & 5pm to 9pm

The essentials:

• An understanding of and empathy with the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Candidates who are experience/completed training in handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be highly regarded
• Physical fitness and capability of responding to overall work demands is required
