Reporting to the Head of Sales, your primary role is to contact exhibitors who are attending upcoming events that Agility has been appointed to manage.

This role involves making outbound phone calls, but is definitely not cold calling or hard-sales.  As the official appointed logistics provider, Agility is a partner to the event and as such we are provided full contact details by the event organiser, in order to reach out to all exhibitors by way of a "service call" to assist them with their event requirements.

Full training and support will of course be offered and it is anticipated that you will make approx. 40-60 effective contact calls per day, making notes on the outcome.  The information is then handed over to the operational team to run with.

To be successful in this position, you must enjoy dealing with a wide variety of people across a range of industries and have the ability to engage with them over the phone.  Emphasising again, this is not a hard sell environment, however, you are expected to clearly articulate and promote Agility\'s offering and generate uptake of our services. These include transport & freight forwarding, scheduling, materials handling and other specialist onsite services for our customers (exhibitors).

Skills required:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are critical.
• It is essential that you enjoy phone based work. 
• Be versatile and adaptable - an ability to get your head around different types of events and formulate a pitch.
• Listen attentively and be ready to overcome any objections.
• Computer literate.
• You will be enthusiastic and customer-service focused.
• Confident with a friendly personality.
• Reliable with attention to detail a must.
• An understanding of events / exhibitions preferred but not essential.
• A strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn.
