The Job
Reporting through to the Customer Service Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Answering all inbound calls from Customers and internal stakeholders regarding their orders handling queries
- Liaising with the warehouse regarding issues relating to proof of deliveries, specialized exports and escalations
- Managing the out of the ordinary order process from start to finish and advising customers of any stock shortages
- Processing payments via EFT or Credit Card
- Communicate with the delivery company regarding any issues with orders
- Liaise with Sales and Field Staff to resolve any outstanding queries regarding held orders
- All other tasks as required by the Customer Service Team Leader
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
- 1-2 years' proven track record working in an order processing environment with an understanding of logistics / inventory control / warehouse environment
- Degree Qualified (or in progress)
- Experience within the FMCG or Freight/Logistics sector is highly advantageous. Candidates who have worked in a warehouse and seeking a change into an office environment will be considered for this role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
