Eastern suburbs sporting goods distributor seeking temporary part time customer service administrator.

Your new company
This prominent sporting goods distribution company are located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. They are in the midst of their busy season and wanting to continue their high levels of customer service, looking to have another member of the team come on board. They have a supportive and inclusive team environment which is looking forward to welcoming a fresh face to join the team.

Your new role
This customer service role will require;

• Excellent communication skills
• High levels of over the phone customer service
• Knowledge of the retail/distribution industries
• Some product handling
• Maintain detailed knowledge of products and utilise this knowledge to provide product advice (training will be provided)
• Process warranties and returns
• Data entry
• You will be responsible to ensure all sales enquiries are answered promptly and professionally via phone, email and other digital channels.
• You may be required to undertake additional duties as required, and work hours may be extended and varied dependant on operational requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will have:

• Proven experience in providing exceptional professional customer service
• Proactive work ethic with the ability to learn quickly
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage your time effectively in a busy environment
• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability to lift 10-15kg
• Previous experience processing returns and following warranty procedures
• Intermediate MS Office suite skills.
• High levels of organisation with the ability to work under pressure.
