The Green Elephant Early Learning Centre is looking for an outstanding and experienced educator for our nursery room at our state-of-the-art Rosebery service. 

This is a full time position. Our service is open from 7am-6pm, 52 weeks of the year and we have 69 children per day. We are conveniently located near buses and a short walk from Green Square train station. 

To be successful in your new role you will have: 

• A Certificate III (with minimum three years experience) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care 
• Demonstrated solid understanding of: 
• National Quality Framework (NQF) 
• Early years learning framework (EYLF) 
• A passion for play based educational practices 
• Excellent verbal and written skills 
• A true passion for working with children 
• Strong leadership qualities 
• Great communication Skills 
• Ability to work in and lead a team 
• Current working with children check

In addition to above you will also: 

• Pride yourself on your curriculum planning, documentation and practice 
• Have knowledge of the stages of child development 
• Provide supervision and assistance to other educators
