The George on Collins, formerly known as the Longroom has an exciting opportunity available. We are looking for charismatic, engaging manager to lead our front of house operation. You must be confident and personable and have the ability to build relationships quickly.

As part of the senior team you will play a vital role within the business. Working closely with the Venue Operations Manager you will be involved in the day to day running of the business. You will be responsible for all elements of customer service, customer engagement and building a network of contacts who will become loyal customers. We hero old fashioned customer service, you must be a natural at remembering names, customers' favourite drink and where they work. The ideal candidate will already be established within the industry and city with an existing network of contacts. We are looking for someone who has sound industry knowledge and at least three years of managerial experience. 

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills:

• Excellent at building relationships
• Ability to continually assess the customer experience and make any necessary changes 
• Well rounded knowledge of food, cocktails, wines and spirits
• Creatively minded, with the ability to share ideas and implement positive change
• Ability to inspire, train and develop a large team
• Previous experience in cost control and revenue generation within the hospitality industry. 
• Up to date with current industry trends and changes.
• Excellent grooming and presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Displays strong organisational and time management skills.
• Holds a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
